Reverend Amos Howell frowned as he finished a chocolate cake slice. He turned to one kitchen window. His eyes were on the dark sky.


''Supergirl never returned from her search for creatures to battle in Smallville after three hours.'' Worry appeared in Reverend Howell's eyes before he stood. Amos went outside and remembered where Supergirl usually battled animals. He paused by a handful of trees.


Frowning, Supergirl elbowed a creature's side. She viewed Amos before her eyes widened.


Amos scowled after the creature scratched his arm and his eyes were wide. He smiled when Supergirl avenged him with another battle.

CARELESS SPIRITS



Gentleman Ghost looked around as he floated above the Metropolis streets. His eyes settled on a woman's fancy necklace while she wandered the streets and smiled. He approached the woman at a snail's pace and seized the necklace before she continued to walk. Gentleman Ghost admired it.


''I'll search for other necklaces and a certain preacher won't battle me this time.''


Gentleman Ghost began to recall Reverend Amos Howell attempting to battle him with a tentacle from his mouth every now and then.


Invisible eyes widened the minute they were on Amos carrying a bag. Even when the latter smirked.

USUALLY WANDER


One scowl materialized on Reverend Amos Howell's face the minute a snarling creature appeared in Smallville. ''The usual stroll with territorial creatures,'' he said. Amos began to tense before the animal snapped at him. He was barely able to step to the side.


''I remember mentioning curfew near Supergirl when she battles creatures.''


Amos looked back and smiled the minute Supergirl flew to the animal.


''Are you causing mischief this time?'' Supergirl asked after one smile.


Amos never said anything while the animal was struck repeatedly. He viewed it fleeing.

Frowning, Amos glanced from one stuffed animal to another near it on a shop shelf. He viewed Kara and wondered which animal she was going to choose. A few minutes went by before he bought one of the animals and gave it to her. He smiled with her.


Amos went outside and turned to other shops in Metropolis.


''What are our other plans?'' Kara wished to know.


''I guess we'll locate a restaurant or battle the usual villains.''


''Gentleman Ghost? Livewire?''


''Exactly.''


Gentleman Ghost ran with bags of cash. He heard sirens.


''Let's locate a restaurant,'' Amos said.

THE ANIMAL'S ATTACK


Amos started to scowl when he approached Supergirl. Eyes remained on the latter as she used heat vision near a Smallville creature.


Even when she brought her fists down on its back.


''It's after midnight,'' Amos said to Supergirl.


''I'm busy.''


''If you're injured...''


''Heat vision. Super strength. Remember?''


Amos approached Supergirl and opened his mouth. One tentacle almost emerged from it to wrap around Supergirl's arm before the creature's tail knocked him down. The side of his body contacted the ground. His eyes were wide for a moment.


Amos stood and viewed Supergirl lifting the creature. Flying. Empty areas.

REMEMBER OTHERS


Confusion appeared in Reverend Amos Howell's eyes as soon as they were on a Smallville creature pacing. There was something familiar about it. Amos attempted to recall every creature he crossed paths with. Territorial ones. Hungry ones. He began to squint.

Amos frowned the minute the creature ceased pacing. He tensed.

Amos started to tilt his head to one side the minute the animal left. His eyes widened. He nodded. ''I understand.''

Amos recalled Supergirl attempting to protect him from it days ago. When her eyes were wide with him.

Amos tensed and glowered after Gentleman Ghost approached a jewelry shop door. He turned from Gentleman Ghost to another Metropolis shop.


He thought Supergirl smiled.


''I'm going to prevent Gentleman Ghost from seizing necklaces while you run errands,'' Supergirl said.


After Amos shrugged his shoulders, he walked into the store. Eyes were on different items such as stuffed animals. Amos lifted one of the stuffed animals before he smiled. Other objects were bought. He opened the door another time and stepped outside. One smile materialized.


Supergirl's kick knocked Gentleman Ghost down and caused him to flee.


''Noodles?'' Supergirl asked.


''Yes.''

ATTACK GENTLEMAN GHOST


''Are you going to run errands with me?'' Amos wished to know after he focused on Supergirl. One eye widened as soon as he viewed Gentleman Ghost flying by him. Amos was able to view six diamond necklaces around the latter's arm. He wondered if Gentleman Ghost removed them from a woman or one Metropolis jewelry shop.


Supergirl smirked. She began to fly to Gentleman Ghost.


''I guess you won't run errands,'' Amos said while a frown materialized.


Supergirl seized Gentleman Ghost's waist before she threw him to the side. Her eyes were wide when Amos scowled under Gentleman Ghost.

SCRATCH OTHERS


One snarling creature appeared near a handful of trees and caused Amos to scowl near Supergirl.


''I was going to eat a chocolate cake slice,'' Amos said. He turned to Supergirl. ''You can defeat the creature,'' he said.


Supergirl frowned. ''You can eat a cake slice after our stroll,'' she said.


Amos focused on the creature before it scratched his arm. He cried out prior to a scowl. His eyes were on Supergirl another time.


Amos watched as Supergirl elbowed one side of the creature repeatedly. One smile replaced his scowl as soon as it was unconscious.


Cakes were remembered.

NEVER DISOBEY


''Remain with me. Don't fly ahead. I remember seeing a handful of creatures wandering recently. Let's run errands for Martha and Jonathan without problems.''


Amos glowered as soon as Supergirl flew to one creature. ''You always mention having super hearing,'' he said.


Eyes were wide after the snarling animal used its tail to knock Supergirl down. Amos ran to her before it departed. He held her as she struggled to remain awake.

Amos took Supergirl to a farm and her bedroom. He placed a stuffed animal in her arms.

Amos turned to a cake shop in Metropolis. One thoughtful expression appeared.


''Maybe a cake slice after everything. Protecting Supergirl from creatures. Remaining with her.''


Amos scowled when he remembered his master searching for a different preacher to replace him. ''I never located other crowds for him to become one with.'' He smiled and viewed another shop. His eyes were on a stuffed animal.

After Amos bought the animal and treat, he gave the cat to Supergirl. His eyes flew open when she tossed the cat to the side.

Amos removed a cake slice from one refrigerator and smiled. One treat after always obeying Unity. He ate the treat and glanced at the stairs. He wondered if Supergirl continued to rest. Amos recalled opening his eyes earlier and performing farm tasks. After she protected him from hungry creatures with super strength and heat vision recently? Her reward.

The sight of a carnival caused Cecilia's eyes to widen. Eyes were on creatures as they smiled near rides and small animals.

Repsaj looked back every now and then with worry in his eye while he battled a handful of enemies. He wondered if she was safe within their bedroom. If Ailicec scowled and loathed King Kooh for ordering him to battle enemies. Repsaj almost wished for King Kooh's defeat. One enemy managing to disarm his sibling. Maybe even a concussion.


Repsaj turned to King Kooh as the latter brought a hook down on one opponent's weapon and disarmed him. He viewed enemies fleeing.


Repsaj eventually went to Ailicec where she smiled on their bed. They were safe in one another's arms.

THE RETURN


Berthier began to scowl after a recent battle in Tokyo. She tensed and remembered crossing paths with Sailor Soldiers while she searched for a Crystal Point. She recalled frowns and attacks from them. Sailor Jupiter's attack contacting one arm and knocking her chain from Sailor Venus striking her hand when she stood. Her scowl remained as soon as the flashbacks vanished.


Berthier stood in darkness before she revealed a compact mirror. She refused to acknowledge any possible scratches or bruises on her face and body. Bruises and scratches weren't why she frowned.


Berthier struggled to fix smudged lipstick.

ALWAYS CONCENTRATE


Stargirl wasn't worried when Gentleman Ghost ran and carried jewelry at the same time. Smirking, she flew by many restaurants with shops. Stargirl focused on Gentleman Ghost before she aimed the Cosmic Staff at the valuables in his arms. Energy was released and went to them.

It lifted the jewels. Stargirl watched as Gentleman Ghost looked around.


Valuables were then returned to the jewelry shop after Stargirl used energy from the Cosmic Staff to place them in their rightful areas.


It was the next day when Courtney Whitmore scowled and struggled to remain awake while a teacher mentioned math problems.

One of Stargirl's eyes widened as soon as she viewed Gentleman Ghost standing within a shop and placing valuables in his coat.

ANOTHER ATTACK

Stargirl flew above the streets and smiled after her eyes were on a bank robber fleeing with two bags of cash. She blocked the latter's path until his eyes widened. Smirking, she used one energy blast from the Cosmic Staff to contact his shoulder and knock him down. Stargirl heard cop car sirens. One crook defeated. Three orange pancakes for her to eventually eat.


Stargirl's blue eyes were wide as soon as Gentleman Ghost was viewed near a jewelry shop. Her smile came back.


Energy was released from the Cosmic Staff and knocked Gentleman Ghost down.

PERHAPS SOMEDAY


Stargirl used the Cosmic Staff to fly to Gentleman Ghost after he ran with one armful of jewelry. She paused by him prior to one smile. She started to aim the Cosmic Staff at him as he tensed. Plenty of time for her to defeat him before the Yankee Poodle Show aired.


Stargirl turned to a clock in one shop window. Her blue eyes suddenly widened slowly.


''The Yankee Poodle Show is going to start in a few minutes?''


Defeat Gentleman Ghost with blasts from the Cosmic Staff or view the episode?

Stargirl smirked. She blasted Gentleman Ghost.

SCOWL NEAR SHOPS


Gentleman Ghost smiled the minute one crowd placed jewelry near him within a bank. He remembered concentrating and walking through the door by phasing. The wide eyes of the crowd after they were on the faceless spirit and the flintlock pistols that suddenly materialized. Even when Gentleman Ghost introduced himself. The flashback ended while the weapons vanished. The valuables were gathered and placed in the side of his long coat.


Gentleman Ghost lifted his top hat before he ran through the door.


''Superheroes won't defeat me.''


Eyes widened after Stargirl appeared and scowled.

One frown suddenly materialized on Stargirl's face after Gentleman Ghost ran across the street. Eyes were on the bags of cash he held.


Stargirl used the Cosmic Staff to levitate. She flew to the other side of the street before she pursued Gentleman Ghost. Energy emerged from the Cosmic Staff and struck the side of one building. Stargirl's eyes were wide for a second. There weren't any signs of damage.


Stargirl looked ahead as Gentleman Ghost vanished with the bags. Scowling, she tensed.


Stargirl flew to her bedroom window.


The Cosmic Staff's energy was used to open it.

AFTER LUNA APPEARED



''You aren't with your sisters, Koan.'' Sadness appeared in Berthier's eyes after she turned to a shop window in Tokyo. She remembered hearing about Sailor Moon healing Koan recently. Although she had her two other sisters, it wasn't the same. ''Four siblings should always be together.'' Was she going to battle Sailor Moon or the other Sailor Soldiers? Berthier wished for it. For Koan.


Other things were remembered.


One cat with a moon on her forehead. A cat wandering the streets sometimes.


Eyes flew open the minute they were on the cat walking across the street. Koan's hair like ears.

Bewilderment appeared in Kunzite's eyes when he was in a barren world. He turned to Jadeite and Nephrite with Zoisite.

The sight of a cat wandering caused concern to form in Stargirl's eyes for one minute. She approached the cat after the Cosmic Staff she wielded was used to fly. Stargirl smiled. ''I'll protect you,'' she said to it. She thought it purred. Her eyes flew open as soon as four men carried jewelry and were armed. Concern returned to eyes.


Stargirl used the Cosmic Staff to form a force field. She and the cat remained within it even when the crooks ran by them.

Queen Badiane viewed several Sailor Soldiers after they ran into one area. She wasn't worried. Many children slumbered within their Dream Coffins under the castle floor. Children were safe in coffins with their dreams.


Queen Badiane remembered the Black Dream Hole growing above her. The Black Dream Hole was going to consume everything sooner or later.


''You won't release children from the Dream Coffins,'' Queen Badiane said to the Sailor Soldiers. Her enemies scowled.


Queen Badiane started to smile at a snail's pace. She refused to mention the Black Dream Hole growing above them. Black lightning materializing. Knocking enemies unconscious.

Berthier looked around and scowled as she walked by a handful of Tokyo shops. ''I'll locate Sailor Soldiers. I remember them appearing and attacking me recently.''


Berthier started remembering attacks knocking her down. Fire from Sailor Mars burning her shoulder. Sailor Jupiter's attack preventing her from searching for a Crystal Point.


After the flashback, Berthier continued with the search. Empty streets caused her to tense for a second.


Berthier recalled searching for Crystal Points occasionally. She walked to a restaurant before she paused.


One smile suddenly materialized.


The Crystal Point was located and Sailor Soldiers weren't around to defeat Berthier.

AFTER EVENINGS TOGETHER


Midshipman James Hook refused to smile after Captain Jasper Hook captured Cecilia. He recalled Cecilia's scowl as tears streamed down her face. When she mentioned a golden idol replacing her. James was also able to remember Jasper disfiguring his betrothed minutes earlier. His wide eyes.

Curiosity appeared in Queen Badiane's eyes as soon as several Sailor Soldiers ran into the area. She glanced at dark lightning that writhed around her.

Queen Badiane's smile remained while dark lightning writhed around her.

Lightning began to approach Sailor Soldiers before it managed to knock them far from one another. Unconscious.


Queen Badiane looked forward to placing her enemies in separate Dream Coffins. Treats together within dreams.

''You won't release children from their Dream Coffins if you're apart,'' Queen Badiane said to Sailor Soldiers in her eyes were on a handful of dark lightning bolts that writhed near Sailor Soldiers. She watched as they were barely able to avoid them.

''Allow children to remain in eternal dreams where they're safe from harm,'' she said. Queen Badiane smiled before she concentrated. The barrier that protected her from attacks vanished.


Queen Badiane thought confusion formed in her enemies' eyes. She glanced at the staff she wielded.


Lightning emerged from the weapon and then knocked Sailor Soldiers unconscious.

''I'll locate a Crystal Point as soon as possible.'' Berthier frowned as she looked around the streets of Tokyo. ''Maybe.'' She wondered if her siblings were going to check on her. Berthier remembered them always arguing with one another. If anyone disrupted her plan?


Berthier smiled as soon as she viewed two women admiring jewelry in a shop window. Water emerged from her palm at the flick of a wrist. It contacted the women and encased them in ice. Their wide eyes appealed to Berthier.

Berthier almost attacked Petz. Her eyes widened. Checking on her? Berthier searched.

ALWAYS ATTACK ENEMIES


Kunzite smiled after he appeared in Tokyo. Concentrating, he began to freeze most of Tokyo. Others enjoying being with one Soldiers were going to appear sooner or later. ''I'll obtain the Silver Crystal for Queen Beryl,'' he said. Frowning, Kunzite vaguely remembered Queen Beryl gesturing and causing a stone to appear on his forehead earlier. Was he being controlled?


Sailor Soldiers appeared before Kunzite's smile returned. They scowled and vowed to protect Sailor Moon.


Eyes widened when he was attacked. Flashbacks of Jadeite kissing Sailor Mars. Kings near Sailor Soldiers.


Kunzite never said he loved Sailor Venus again.

Jadeite thought he viewed doubt in Kunzite's eyes before one scowl materialized. ''I'll collect energy for our Great Ruler. You'll see,'' he said to him.

She continued to frown.


''Why aren't you bringing any children to my castle?'' Queen Badiane wished to know.

''We'll fight with you,'' Sailor Venus informed Kunzite after her eyes were on the other Sailor Soldiers.


''No. I'll protect you from any attacks,'' Kunzite said. His eyes widened after Sailor Soldiers ran to Queen Metalia. He ran with them.

THE RUNNING BATTLE



Kunzite began to frown after the sword he wielded clashed with one enemy's blade. ''You're being controlled by Queen Metalia,'' he said to him. He was able to see malice in the latter's eyes. The man's smirk. Was the warrior too far gone? Kunzite thought he knew the answer. His eyes settled on Queen Metalia appearing behind other armed men. He turned to Jadeite and Zoisite with Nephrite.


''We are going to defeat Queen Metalia with her army,'' Kunzite informed Nephrite and Jadeite with Zoisite. Eyes widened after Queen Beryl appeared.


Queen Beryl brainwashed Kunzite with the others.

BATTLE OTHERS


The last thing Kunzite remembered was battling Queen Beryl and Queen Metalia with their army. Did anything else occur? He wasn't certain. Confusion appeared in his eyes when his environment appeared to be one empty world. Kunzite saw Nephrite and Zoisite with Jadeite.


He remembered using a sword to battle Queen Beryl's men. He was able to see their confused expressions.


''We should search for the master we protected before we found ourselves here,'' Kunzite said to his companions.


Jadeite nodded with Zoisite and Nephrite.


''Master? Are you here?'' Kunzite asked. His eyes widened after Queen Beryl appeared. Control everyone.

ONE BATTLE OF WILLS


One scowl formed on Kunzite's face after Queen Metalia and Queen Beryl appeared near him. ''You were defeated moments ago,'' he said to them. Were Queen Metalia and Queen Beryl vanquished? The last thing he recalled was using a sword to battle Queen Metalia's army.


When Jadeite and Zoisite battled near his side. The same with Nephrite.


''I remember you attempting to protect your master,'' Queen Beryl said when she smiled by them.


Worry appeared in their eyes as they looked around for their master.


''We won't obey you,'' Kunzite informed Queen Beryl before she gestured.

Frowning, Kunzite remembered viewing his companions turning to gems recently. Zoisite. Nephrite. Jadeite. When they were revived after being killed by Sailor Soldiers. Power from the Silver Crystal. The item Queen Beryl ordered him to steal after a gem formed on his forehead.


Jadeite and Zoisite with Nephrite weren't remembered any longer as Kunzite focused on Sailor Soldiers prior to a smile from him.


''The Silver Crystal is going to belong to Queen Beryl. I'll pry it from your lifeless body, Sailor Moon.''


Eyes widened after Sailor Soldiers attacked him.


Another stone was added to the other gems by queens.

Kunzite's eyes widened the minute one gem appeared on his forehead. He was barely able to focus on Queen Beryl. Hear her words.


''You vowed to obey me, Kunzite. The same with Nephrite and Zoisite. Jadeite. You gave yourselves to me,'' Queen Beryl said.


Kunzite began to remember standing with Jadeite and Zoisite. Near Nephrite. Protecting their master from any type of harm. Crossing paths with Queen Beryl again and again.

''Are you going to locate a Crystal Point?'' Berthier asked after she turned to Petz. Curiosity appeared in her eyes as Petz frowned and ate a cake that had many strawberries on it. Berthier never heard a reply from her sibling. Shrugging, she walked by Petz before the latter faced her. Berthier looked back and her steps stopped. She thought she viewed a scowl.


''I'll find a Crystal Point when I finish with eating the snack,'' Petz said.


Wishing to locate one of the Crystal Points, Berthier smiled and used water from her palm to freeze the snack. She faded.

ALWAYS SEARCH


Berthier wandered and scowled when there weren't any Crystal Points in Tokyo. She wondered if her siblings were going to locate a Crystal Point without her. There weren't any signs of Calaveras or Petz. She also couldn't see Koan. She wasn't able to remember when she worked with them.


At least Sailor Soldiers never seemed to be present. Their attacks were remembered. Attacks usually knocking Berthier down and causing her to retreat.


Berthier continued with the search before Sailor Soldiers appeared and her eyes widened for a second.


One smile materialized before she remembered one of her abilities and faded.

Berthier started to frown after a handful of Sailor Soldiers appeared near Tokyo shops with restaurants. She remembered battling them occasionally when she searched for Crystal Points. Always eventually retreating if their attacks knocked her down. ''Are you territorial?'' she muttered under her breath.


''You're not going to find a Crystal Point,'' one blonde girl clad in orange and blue said to Berthier as she scowled.


Berthier was barely able to step to the side after another girl attacked her with fire rings. She faded and appeared near one shop.


Berthier smiled by a Crystal Point and threatened anyone appearing.

FAMILIAR ENEMIES


Berthier glanced at Petz and Calaveras as they argued with Koan about which one of them got to apply the last formed in her eyes for a moment. Berthier remembered Petz's habit of attacking anyone. Even one of her sisters.


''I'll locate a Crystal Point on my own,'' Berthier muttered before she shrugged her shoulders and faded. She eventually materialized on the streets of Tokyo where she recognized Sailor Soldiers near shops. Her eyes widened.


Berthier then faded from Sailor Soldiers. She already heard verbal fights from her sisters. She wasn't in the mood for a physical battle.

ANOTHER ENEMY


Berthier smiled after she was near a Crystal Point in Tokyo. ''I'm not with my noisy siblings. They always argue. They fight about lipstick, outfits, missions about locating Crystal Points, etc.'' Berthier looked around. Her eyes were on the empty streets.


''I'm not battling Sailor Soldiers,'' Berthier muttered. Eyes flew open as soon as familiar enemies appeared and scowled.


Berthier was knocked down by one Sailor Soldier's chain after it struck the side of her body. She glowered while she stood at a snail's pace. Swaying from exhaustion, she returned to her sisters arguing.


Another smile as Berthier fell asleep.

Berthier's eyes flew open after she looked back. She recognized Petz's smirk. ''Why are you here? I'm searching for one Crystal Point,'' she said to Petz.

Berthier refused to say anything as she scowled. ''I'll locate the Crystal Point.''


One of Petz's eyebrows went up while her smirk remained.


Berthier almost turned and continued with her search before Sailor Soldiers appeared. She scowled.


''I'll spare you for the moment,'' Berthier said to enemies before she ran to the Crystal Point without Petz.

Sailor Galaxia scowled as soon as her eyes were on Sailor Iron Mouse's empty hands. ''You never located a Star Seed?'' she wished to know. She viewed worry in the latter's eyes. The sight of Sailor Iron Mouse putting her hands behind her back and frowning caused Sailor Galaxia to tense.


Darkness slowly consumed Sailor Galaxia. She remembered sealing Chaos within her body when it attempted to consume the galaxy.

It was just a matter of time before Chaos completely overwhelmed her.


Sailor Galaxia smiled the minute golden lightning was released from her hand and knocked Sailor Iron Mouse down.

Reverend Amos Howell turned to three woman admiring valuables in a shop window before curiosity appeared in his dark bag he held by his side was ignored. The same with Kara until she spoke.

Amos faced Kara with wide eyes. ''I don't hate you,'' he said with shock in his voice.

Footsteps were heard.


Martha and Jonathan Kent appeared with worry in their eyes.

Amos scowled when a snarling creature appeared by several trees. ''One animal disrupting the usual stroll,'' he muttered.


He turned from the animal to Supergirl as she smiled. His eyes were wide after she attacked it and was pinned down by one tail.


Amos began to recall his smile when Unity controlled crowds in Smallville. Moments when he refused to save them. He remembered every animal joke from Supergirl after Unity wished to locate another preacher. Minutes when she protected him from other creatures.


One tentacle emerged from his mouth and struck the creature. It ran.

Amos ate a bit of one sandwich before he glanced at the jewelry store in Metropolis. One eye widened while he frowned.

''I'm sure one villain is robbing a bank,'' Kara said. She thought his eyes flew open. She tilted her head to the side for a moment.


Amos viewed the shop door opening and Livewire appearing. His eyes were on the bag she carried. Her smile.

Amos walked from one store as he held a bag by his side in Smallville. He glanced at it. ''Martha and Jonathan Kent should be happy with me buying everything they asked for.'' He smiled for a few seconds. After Amos looked ahead, he paused. His dark eyes were then wide.


One creature appeared while it snarled.


Amos cried out after the creature's tail struck his arm. He swayed even when the territorial animal fled.

Amos joined the Kents by a kitchen table. Worry appeared in his dark eyes as soon as he glanced at one window. Territorial and hungry creatures always attacked him near the farm or far from his home. Squinting, he attempted to see if there were any animals.

Amos viewed one empty area. He faced Kara with Jonathan and Martha. Eyes settled on four cake slices.


Everything Amos went through. Being Unity's preacher. Unity abandoning him. Creatures attempting to bite him or scratch his arms.

Amos located a small stuffed animal for Supergirl before he smiled. After he bought it, he walked to a window.


Eyes were wide as soon as Supergirl scowled and barely dodged Silver Banshee's sonic shriek.


Amos almost ran outside when Supergirl kicked Silver Banshee's shoulders repeatedly. He relaxed a bit prior to one smile.


''Supergirl should be fine,'' Amos muttered.


Errands continued even when Silver Banshee fled.

Amos began to smile after he organized papers for a sermon. ''Fourteen hours to prepare everything,'' he muttered. Amos walked into one kitchen before a thoughtful expression formed on his long face. ''What is Supergirl up to? She's probably battling the usual Smallville creature. So I assume.''


Amos viewed a window before his eyes flew open. He blinked repeatedly.


Glowering, Supergirl brought her fists down on a creature's snout. Her eyes were on the creature while it snarled and tensed at the same time.

Confusion appeared in Reverend Amos Howell's eyes when a bank robber ran out of one Metropolis bank. One frown appeared before he pursued him. He had no idea where Supergirl was. He attempted to remember if she mentioned patrol earlier.


Amos recalled gathering crowds for Unity when he was the latter's preacher in Smallville. His scowl and wide eyes the minute Unity left him behind.


''Supergirl's family took me in after my master abandoned me. I have to do something.''

Amos recalled Supergirl battling animals after the usual stroll. Fists being brought down on the enemy's back. Other attacks from her. He then viewed Supergirl flying by it and scowling.


Amos stepped to one side after the creature snapped. He faced Supergirl and remembered her protecting him from various creatures. Attacks were recalled again.


The frown remained as Amos wrapped his arms around Supergirl. Although Amos tensed when the animal bit his shoulder, he refused to release her.


''I'll avenge you,'' Supergirl said prior to one smile. She was released. ''You should heal when you return to our place.''


After one nod, Amos walked to the farm.


Amos remembered Supergirl's previous battles again. He wondered how she was going to defeat the creature.

D'Void wasn't distressed when he recognized familiar enemies. His eyes remained on the scowls of Manny and Helen.

''You're not going to enslave any other people in the Null Void,'' Manny said.

''Oh?'' D'Void muttered while his smile remained. He remembered viewing Helen and Manny battling the Null Guardians occasionally.
Helen using her tail to strike a Null Guardian and knock it down. Manny punching a few of them.

''I'll conquer the world with the Null Guardians by my side once I depart from the Null Void,'' D'Void said. He started to glance at a large drill that slaves had made. ''Soon. I'll depart from the Null Void shortly.'' He then faced the Null Guardians. There was a single nod from him.

One Null Guardian tried to snap at Helen before she ducked.

''Another cryptid for my collection,'' Argost said.

Van Rook started to drag the gargoyle to one side of Argost. The chain was released before he stepped back.

Smirking, Van Rook glanced from Argost to the gargoyle.

''I can't tell the two of you apart,'' Van Rook said.

Munya glowered and approached Van Rook before he stomped on his toes. One smile appeared after the latter cried out.
He exchanged glances and nods with Argost.

''You're not going to enslave anyone else in the Null Void,'' Manny said while he glowered. After Manny hopped from one rock to the next one, he raised a fist. Manny's four eyes were wide when his fist contacted D'Void's gloved palm. Glowering again, he started to raise another arm. He struck D'Void's chest and knocked him back. The sight of D'Void's wide eyes caused him to smile.

''How are you doing?'' Manny asked before he looked back. He got his answer in the form of Helen using her tail to strike a few Null Guardians after they attempted to bite her.

D'Void scowled and concentrated on the Null Guardians. Nodding, he departed with his pets.

After D'Void returned to the citadel, he smiled again.

Sublimino's eyes widened for one moment as soon as he heard a young man's voice. His heels touched the ground until he faced the scowling man. He attempted to consider his options. Flee or hypnotize the man into stealing apples.

The watch was held near the man before the latter slapped it out of Sublimino's hand.

Sublimino lifted the watch and fled. Was he going to locate another apple? He wasn't sure. What he was sure about happened to be getting as far away from the grocery store as possible.

It was almost time for Sublimino's stage act. Sublimino recalled the pocket watch in the side of his long coat. The watch he used to hypnotize people into stealing objects for him with. There were plenty of jewelry stores within the mall. A few volunteers onstage. The pocket watch moving back and forth near their faces slowly. The correct words from Sublimino. Very easy.

Sublimino could remember glancing at a handful of people walking by the small stage earlier. He figured that they were going to shop first and then return later. The good news was that there were very few people standing near the stage.

Sublimino paused as soon as he looked ahead. Confusion formed in his eyes for a second. The area was empty. He tried to remember what people looked like. Sublimino looked around. His body tensed with anger the minute he recognized people originally supposed to be near the stage. People by one jewelry store. A clothing shop.

Sublimino still tensed even when he heard a man's voice. One man informing others that the mall was going to close soon.

''I'll hypnotize someone. Anyone,'' Sublimino muttered while he frowned and wandered one neighborhood. His eyes were on the pocket watch he held in front of his face. He then glanced at the empty sidewalk across the street. Houses that appeared to be barren. Not even cars were there.

Sublimino couldn't remember how many minutes passed as he walked. Wouldn't remember.

Sublimino's eyelids were heavy. He almost smiled after he remembered moving the pocket watch in front of the faces of crowds within the malls where he performed. When he hypnotized them into performing foolish acts onstage. Foolish acts such as acting like chickens by flapping their arms and pecking the stage.

The watch wasn't going to be for convincing people to act as animals.

If Sublimino was able to hypnotize someone into robbing a bank for him...

Sublimino began to stretch his arms. Maybe someone was going to show up. Sublimino found one lawn near what appeared to be one abandoned house.
Shrugging, he walked to the lawn. He proceeded to rest on it after the watch was returned to his coat. He closed his eyes.

Sublimino thought he heard the sounds of a few footsteps going by, but he was too exhausted to care.

AROUND CORNERS


One of Sublimino's eyes widened from curiosity the minute he looked into the window of a small restaurant. He was able to see a couple of women across from one another at a table. Their smiles. The plates of food by them. The thought of stepping into the restaurant and hypnotizing them crossed his mind.
One pocket watch in the side of his coat was remembered.

Sublimino then remembered the possibility of waiters appearing and disrupting him. Asking him if he needed help with anything. He guessed he could have hypnotized them first. Hypnotize the waiters with the women into stealing meals for him.

Sublimino decided to look for other possible victims. Curiosity returned to his eyes after he thought he heard footsteps around the corner.
He followed the sounds and looked. His eyes were on several people approaching various shops and restaurants.

Sublimino grinned from the thought of hypnotizing potential customers along with the people at the restaurant before he approached one shop.

Mojo never heard anything from Major Domo. Glowering, he concentrated on another wall of television screens. There were different superheroes on them.

Reverend Howell almost dropped everything after a bank robber ran by him. His eyes widened while he attempted to
hold every container. Reverend Howell glowered before he continued to wander the streets of Metropolis. ''I thought Supergirl patrolled the area,'' he said.

Curiosity appeared in Reverend Howell's eyes as soon as Supergirl appeared and flew. He attempted to see above the boxes as he
followed the bank robber and Supergirl.

After Reverend Howell paused near Supergirl, he glanced at her. They nodded at the same time. Smiled.

One tentacle from Reverend Howell's mouth and Supergirl's kick knocked the crook down.

THE TASKS



One of Reverend Howell's eyes became wide as soon as Supergirl scowled and used heat vision to attack a hungry Smallville creature. Frowning, he focused on them. ''Are you protecting others from the usual creatures?'' he wished to know.

Supergirl never replied while she elbowed the creature's back.

''Are you going to feed the chickens with me?'' Reverend Howell asked.

Supergirl started to kick the animal's shoulder.

''I thought you had super hearing,'' Reverend Howell muttered. He shrugged his shoulders and went to a farm where he walked to several chickens.

Supergirl continued to battle creatures while he fed chickens.

VERY FEW CAKES



Reverend Howell began to glower as soon as he looked into a cake shop. Eyes were on three cakes in the window.
He usually viewed more than a handful of them. Reverend Howell guessed that he was grateful for the cakes being chocolate ones.
He remembered that he carried a bit of cash. Supergirl was then remembered. One smile materialized.

''Supergirl is most likely capturing the usual crook in Metropolis. I'll save one cake for her after I buy them,'' Reverend Howell said. He went into the shop and bought the cakes.

Supergirl joined Amos outside and smiled near cakes.

THE ATTEMPT



''We'll defeat the Smallville creature,'' Supergirl informed Reverend Amos Howell after the usual animal appeared near several trees.

''How?'' Amos asked before Supergirl frowned.

''You don't remember my super strength or heat vision?''

Amos never replied. He started to focus on the snarling creature. Amos rolled to one side after the creature snapped at him.
He stood and was barely able to duck its long tail.

Supergirl flew to the creature before she brought her fists down on its shoulders. After she flew near it, she was struck by its tail. She fell on Amos and with him.

They scowled.

THE TABLE


Amos tilted his head to one side after he walked to a kitchen window. Squinting, he watched as Supergirl struck a creature repeatedly. He glanced at the table where Martha and Jonathan Kent remained. Where there were a few plates that weren't empty.

Amos concentrated on the window another time.

''At least Supergirl is protecting the farm from creatures.''

Supergirl proceeded to kick one side of the creature's form. She smiled after it turned and ran. She flew to a door and opened it.

Supergirl joined her family for lunch. She devoured everything.

Lily watched as T.J. and his friends ran to her. When Randall ran by them.

''I'll tell Miss Finster about you looking suspicious!'' Randall said. He fell on Lily with cupcakes.

Kunzite wondered if he was going to be with his master again. His previous decision was then remembered.

Maybe there was a way to revive Jadeite and Nephrite with Zoisite. If Kunzite wasn't able to be with their master.

Kunzite frowned as he remained without masters or queens. Without Zoisite. Nephrite. Jadeite.

Berthier applied a bright red shade of lipstick after she smiled. One expression of curiosity materialized as soon as she looked ahead.

Petz appeared and scowled.

''You should have brought one of us. We could have located the Crystal Point together,'' Calaveras informed Petz. She turned to Koan and Berthier while they applied lipstick together. Their eyes widened when dark thunder formed around Petz's fist.

Berthier released water from her palm before Petz ducked. Worried, she focused on her lipstick.

''Hotaru, be careful with the stuffed firefly.'' Worry formed in Michiru's eyes while Hotaru smiled and dragged the large firefly by her side. She watched as bewilderment appeared on Hotaru's face before the latter turned to the toy. Their eyes widened from the sight of a large tear on its side.

Hotaru's lower lip trembled as tears appeared in her eyes. They were then on Michiru prior to the latter's smile.

Michiru approached Hotaru and took the firefly. She departed with it.

A few minutes passed until Michiru returned with the repaired toy. She and Hotaru smiled. Fireflies were dropped.

''Why aren't there any Star Seeds with you?'' Sailor Galaxia asked.

''I ate treats and people wandered,'' Sailor Aluminum Siren said after one frown materialized. She and Sailor Lead Crow fled from Sailor Galaxia as lightning was released.

Several butterflies appeared near Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon and her daughter.

Tears appeared in Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon's eyes as she held her. She remembered destroying Sailor Cocoon when Sailor Galaxia appeared and mentioned promises of her becoming a Sailor Soldier. At least something close to a Sailor Soldier.

After Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon released her offspring, she turned to Sailor Galaxia. The one giving her absolute power.

Rapiers clashed repeatedly.

Amy remembered Raphael mentioning having to use a rapier to protect herself from harm. She managed to duck the other rapier as it sliced through the air before she used her weapon to disarm him.

Raphael began to smile instead of revealing wide eyes. ''You're improving, Amy. There are going to be other lessons tomorrow,'' he informed her.

There weren't any smiles from Amy as Raphael picked the rapier up and she eventually joined him within their home.

Curiosity appeared in Stargirl's eyes after she paused by a restaurant. They were on one menu before she smiled.

Stargirl ordered orange pancakes and began to wonder about any other superheroes patrolling the streets. She thought she remembered superheroes such as Ice, Supergirl, etc. Villains such as Gentleman Ghost.

Eyes widened again the minute Stargirl turned to a window and viewed Ice freezing Gentleman Ghost's form with beams of ice from her gloved hands.

REMEMBER STREETS



Stargirl began to tilt her head to the side the minute she patrolled one unfamiliar area. She wasn't able to remember the correct chapter to study for history class or which street she currently patrolled, but she could memorize every scene from the Yankee Poodle Show.
She looked around for the usual villains. Gentleman Ghost. Ordinary bank robbers. Muggers.

Stargirl blinked repeatedly as soon as her eyes were on a familiar superhero using beams of ice from her hands to attack Gentleman Ghost. One smile formed before she used the Cosmic Staff to fly to Ice and blast their opponent.

Ice walked with caution while she looked around. Her light blue eyes remained on the streets. It was the usual patrol of her. The usual search for crooks in general. Was she going to locate another superhero such as Stargirl? She wasn't sure.

Ice thought she was going to hear the sound of a bank or jewelry store being robbed based on alarms.
Her steps stopped when she thought she viewed Stargirl using the Cosmic Staff to fly by a handful of restaurants with shops.
The sight of Stargirl pursuing Gentleman Ghost caused Ice to shrug her shoulders and wander.

''The Yankee Poodle Show is going to be on in thirty minutes,'' Stargirl muttered after she frowned near a variety of restaurants and stores. She couldn't recall how long it took for her to patrol the streets. She was a superhero. Stargirl had to protect civilians from crooks. The Cosmic Staff remained near one side of her. The Cosmic Converter Belt gave her enough super strength to battle twenty crooks at the same time.

Stargirl's eyes were wide the minute she recognized another superhero locating Gentleman Ghost near a bank.

Ice viewed Gentleman Ghost running from a bank and carrying two bags of cash before her eyes widened.
After Ice blinked repeatedly, she pursued him. It seemed as though patrol was going to be very interesting. It was certainly different from viewing empty streets for the most part.

Gentleman Ghost looked back and lifted his top hat.

Blinking another time, Ice continued to pursue Gentleman Ghost. She paused and crouched. Her palms were on the sidewalk before ice formed and started to spread.

Ice's blue eyes were wide again as soon as Gentleman Ghost flew from her with the streets.

''I'll defeat one villain by lunch,'' Stargirl stated as she used the Cosmic Staff to fly above the crowds on the streets.
Maybe unless another superhero defeated villains. Stargirl recalled viewing Ice occasionally pursuing Gentleman Ghost after he robbed a bank or seized a woman's necklace. She paused before her eyes widened at a snail's pace.

Ice frowned and approached Gentleman Ghost. Her eyes remained on Gentleman Ghost as he approached a woman wearing one very expensive necklace.

It was after lunch when Ice used beams from her palms to trap Gentleman Ghost in one icy prison.

Stargirl suddenly glowered.

MIDNIGHT APPROACHED


Gentleman Ghost began to smile the minute he was near a jewelry shop and it was near midnight. Superheroes weren't going to defeat him. He remembered occasionally battling Stargirl or Ice. Vanishing if they attacked him with beams of ice or stars from Stargirl's Cosmic Converter Belt.

Concentrating, Gentleman Ghost walked through the door. He approached several valuables and took them.

Gentleman Ghost approached the door at a snail's pace. After he walked through it again, he admired the items.

It was midnight when Stargirl and Ice appeared.

Gentleman Ghost's eyes widened.

Ice and Stargirl attacked Gentleman Ghost. He fled.

Stargirl looked back every now and then as she used energy from the Cosmic Staff to carry two bank robbers above the streets.
One smile appeared after she remembered using the weapon's energy to lift them a few minutes ago. Stargirl proceeded to look ahead.
''Maybe I'll buy a treat for a reward,'' she muttered.

Stargirl then flew to a cop station where she lowered the bank robbers near four bewildered officers. Energy vanished before she started to patrol the streets another time.

Stargirl thought she recognized Ice as the latter battled Gentleman Ghost. Shrugging, she went into a shop.

WANDER NEAR STREETS



It was the usual patrol for Stargirl when she paused with bewilderment in her eyes.

Snow fell in large amounts and very quickly.

A few inches of snow appeared on the ground.

Reverend Amos Howell wandered the barren streets as he frowned. He wasn't within his religious tent or with his master. The one responsible for brainwashing the poor man. Removing Reverend Howell's humanity. His frown remained while the thought appeared to poke the bear. There weren't any villains for Reverend Howell to cause mischief with. Superheroes for possible conversations never appeared to be present as well.

Unity wasn't present to hurt the preacher another time.

''Maybe later.''

Reverend Howell began to adjust the string tie on a blouse with the dark coat and matching trousers. The preacher hat with the wide brim was also adjusted. Long hair touched Reverend Howell's waist. Dark circles remained around his eyes.

Perhaps Reverend Howell was going to have a complicated relationship with another. Maybe even locate another from Smallville, Kansas.

Reverend Howell wasn't going to be careless near others. He refused to imagine injuries from them.

Reverend Howell's eyes settled on the dark sky for a split second. He wasn't certain about it being midnight.

Reverend Howell wondered if his master was happy without him. Maybe a cake slice or noodles were able to cheer him up. Spring rolls. Chicken.

Even animals represented unity. They weren't present on the streets. Animals later.

The search for unity continued from scratch.

Curiosity appeared in Reverend Howell's eyes as soon as they were on a few men with matching scowls. He smiled before he approached them. Unity. He addressed them.

The men continued to scowl before they approached Reverend Howell and his eyes widened.

Eyes remained on daggers after they were revealed. One man of the cloth was about to be injured.

It was the usual patrol for Stargirl as she wandered the streets with the Cosmic Staff by her side. She assumed that she was going to view villains sooner or later. She was able to recall using the Cosmic Staff to fly above streets. Release energy blasts near crooks.

Although Stargirl couldn't always remember the correct chapter to study for history class or never greeting a friend while in costume another time, she recalled steali... locating the Cosmic Converter Belt in Pat Dugan's belongings. Attempting to tick him off by donning the belt in the past and present. At least Pat wasn't around to irritate her.

Frowning, Stargirl remembered discovering that her biological father robbed a bank with the Royal Flush Gang. He wasn't even a high ranking member. It was when she accepted Pat as a father after she had her ''parent'' arrested.

Stargirl paused as soon as her blue eyes were on a girl wielding a staff near men. She glanced from the staff to the Cosmic Staff she wielded.

Stargirl smiled.

The Cosmic Staff was aimed by one of the men prior to one energy blast being released from it.


SoH - TORA OLAFSDOTTER / ICE


POWERS AND ABILITIES

CRYOKINESIS


Tora has the ability to create and manipulate ice with snow by concentrating.

Snow and ice don't have to be physically present for Tora to use her powers. Ice and snow are able to materialize at her mental command even when they aren't originally on the ground.

Tora tends to use her hands or gestures with her arms for the most part. She can release beams of ice up to eleven feet. The beams are capable of freezing anyone or anything upon contact for as long as she wants. They can also form walls of ice to protect her and others from physical attacks. The walls have the capability to grow up to eight feet tall.

Another ability consists of Tora freezing anyone or anything's body part with a mere touch and by concentrating. Ice can form around the opponent's body part and immobilize him or her. It's also been known to spread across the ground and create a slippery surface.

Icy platforms are created when Tora releases icy beams and she can skate upon the platforms.

Tora can conjure any amount of snow from two inches to a blizzard with a mere thought. Snow that can bury the opponent or knock him down.

More than a handful of icicles can be mentally summoned and appear by either side of Tora before she sends them to the enemy with a gesture.

Ice can form on Tora's body and transform civilian clothes into her usual costume after it shatters.

When Tora summons strong blizzards, she can create freezing winds and imprison more than six people in ice at once.




FLIGHT

Tora can fly up to 490 feet without using wings or anything else.


HAND-TO-HAND COMBAT

Tora knows basic hand-to-hand combat. She can throw a punch or kick with ease.


WEAKNESSES


HEAT

Tora isn't able to use any ice or snow in environments of 32 degrees or higher. She'll weaken in very hot surroundings and become exhausted.
She will most likely collapse from the heat and be vulnerable to physical or mental attacks. Fire can melt any icy wall or anything she freezes within seconds.



CONCENTRATION / EMOTIONS

Since Tora concentrates to use her icy abilities, she won't attack with them if she's distracted by anyone or anything.
Ice and snow will vanish if she's knocked unconscious. She remains vulnerable to any type of attack when she focuses on her ice powers.

If Tora becomes enraged or emotional in general, she can't control her ice powers. She'll freeze anything or anyone in her path without considering their safety. She must always remain calm when she uses her powers.


VIBRATIONS

Any type of vibration can cause ice to shatter. Icy walls, sheets of ice, etc. Vibrations are also capable of causing Tora to lose her balance and fall. Most likely hurt herself.



HANDS

Tora mainly uses her hands for cryokinetic abilities. If any physical attack strikes her hands, she won't be able to use ice beams
or freeze her opponent with a touch. She'll lower them with her guard and be vulnerable to any attack type. Attacks that will then knock her unconscious for a few hours.


HISTORY

TW - Murder of a grandfather and father.


Tora Olafsdotter was born in one unrevealed location in Norway on December 19 to Elsa and Olaf. Ever since Tora was young, she had the ability to form ice and snow with a thought. Olaf always instructed her to remain calm when she used her abilities. If she lost control of her emotions, then she was capable of hurting others by freezing them. Olaf wished to conceal Tora from his father due to the possibility of the other man using her ice powers for criminal activities.

It was one day when Tora played soccer with other girls. One of the girls fell and attacked Tora before the latter knocked her down with a beam of ice from her hands. Since Olaf's father viewed the attack from Tora, Olaf decided to move the family to Munich, Germany.

After Tora turned thirteen, she was found by her grandfather and his men after they managed to track her down. She was seized by one of the henchmen before her father instructed her to make everything cold. She stretched her hand before she created a blizzard that managed to freeze everyone around her. Her grandfather and his men were frozen solid. Her father was very cold with a lot of snow on him. He knew he was going to freeze to death soon. Before Olaf died, he instructed Tora to remain careful and calm.

Elsa decided to take Tora and her sister to New Zealand.

When Tora turned twenty, she decided to become a superhero in New Zealand. She named herself Ice and decided to protect others with her cryokinesis. Her costume made her recognizable with the blue and white bodysuit and fur-tipped boots. Some people cheered when she used ice to form walls to protect them from danger. Some people became wide-eyed at the sight of her being able to summon blizzards when there weren't any hints of snow anywhere.

Tora was ashamed of her past and decided to lie near anyone willing to hear her. She mentioned that she was a magical princess from a tribe so that she could forget about the accidental murders.

Ice eventually heard about Gotham going into lockdown and went to America to investigate when she was twenty-four. She went to Gotham where she wished to protect others from harm by using her cryokinetic abilities for good deeds. She remained in Gotham even when there was the eventual earthquake and resource shortage.



IT'S ICY


Tora Olafsdotter looked around with curiosity in her eyes after she was on patrol. She wondered if she appeared to be a bit unusual. White hair went a bit past her shoulders. She was clad in a light blue and white bodysuit with a white top. Fur-tipped boots completed her costume. Tora's eyes settled on the bright blue sky. One smile materialized.

''It's afternoon. Maybe,'' Tora said. She turned to a handful of restaurants. Tora was able to view three women standing near a table.

Lunch seemed fine with Tora as her smile remained.

Perhaps a few extra minutes consisting of patrolling the streets. At least the streets appeared to be a bit busy.

Tora began to consider the possibilities of defeating crooks with her cryokinetic abilities. Touching the ground and creating ice on it. Maybe even summoning snow in order to immobilize a crook's legs. She had to remember to be careful.

Frowning, Tora recalled her father always instructing her to remain careful with her cryokinesis. Control her emotions. She remembered her grandfather locating her in one attempt to use her ice abilities for misdeeds. When her father instructed her to turn everything colder. Tora was able to recall obeying. Wide eyes when she discovered that she managed to freeze her grandfather along with her father. Again, he had instructed Tora to remain calm.

After the flashback, Tora attempted to smile another time. The sight of another restaurant caused another smile to materialize.



AMOS HOWELL

TRIBUTE



''I usually hesitate to transform into an alien because I'm not willing to suffer when my human body shreds apart. I may assume my alien form to save the life of another. Maybe from falling buildings. Unity did hurt me, but he also gave me a sense of purpose. Unity turned me into his preacher. His voice. Am I his puppet? Certainly. Did Unity remove my ability to tell right and wrong apart? Yes. He was my master. I had to obey him. Yes. I enjoyed the sight of Unity's other victims moving slowly and chanting his name with one another. How brilliant it was of him to cause me to remember my past. When I was a mere man. One mere boy with his preacher father,'' Reverend Amos Howell said. He began to tense.

''Unity used me. He used me as his preacher. His voice.''

Reverend Howell continued to view Unity as his master. He nodded about Sebastian's other words.

''I'm very grateful for remaining with you. When you gave me purpose. I was Unity's preacher. I'll be your preacher. I understand,'' Amos said. He nodded as his frown remained.

One minion.

It was fine with Reverend Amos Howell.



Reverend Amos Howell never thought that he would become the preacher of an alien. He always assumed that he would wander and continue to give sermons consisting of how important it was for everything to be with each other. He didn't consider the possibility of one alien appearing in Smallville and forcing him to gather crowds. The thought of actually sacrificing another never occurred to him. It was the path he chose. Reverend Howell was then thoughtful for a handful of minutes.

''I never had a choice when I was forced to become a preacher for one alien. I currently have one decision. I choose to be one preacher for another. Choices are very good,'' Reverend Amos Howell said.
There were plenty of other victims for Unity in Smallville, Kansas. Perhaps Unity replaced Reverend Howell with another man or woman of the cloth.

Rare tears formed in Reverend Howell's eyes before he scowled another time. His shoulders slumped.

''My apologies. The thought of Unity replacing me isn't a very good one.''

Reverend Howell's posture returned to its original state.

Current unity.

''One great member of the family. Perfection. The perfect preacher.''

It was the return of Reverend Amos Howell's smile.


THE SUPPLY RUN


Amos remembered most things. Wandering with his preacher father when he was a boy in Smallville, Kansas. Viewing the smiles of crowds as they experienced absolute unity. One spaceship appearing near more than a handful of trees prior to the alien with tentacles and eyes emerging from it. The preacher's wide eyes as he attempted to run. The alien piercing his back and implanting a mind-controlling parasite in him. Crowds suffering just as he did when he brought them into his religious tent. Reverend Amos Howell's gruesome smiles. The poor preacher being brainwashed.

Then there was coming across Sebastian Blood and the latter's men. When Amos hesitated to perform the blood sacrifices. Corpses were never unity. Blood was different. The man along with actual blood. Amos had to remember that hesitation was frowned upon.

Father Howell instead of The Reverend Amos Howell.

Instead of preaching about how important it was for everything and everyone to be with one another, Father Howell was on a supply run with Sebastian Blood's men. In a truck.

''This is certainly different from always wandering ,'' Amos stated after he frowned. He wondered if he was able to have a conversation with any of the men. He certainly enjoyed having conversations with others when he didn't deliver the usual sermons.

''Is our master going to be fine without us? Forms of unity protect one another.''

It was when Amos remembered that Unity wasn't his master any longer. He was about blood.

FINE FROSTY DINING


Reverend Amos Howell started to smirk when his eyes were on a crowd by one food truck. Absolute unity. He remembered always introducing himself and appearing to be one polite member of the clergy to anyone eager to hear his words. Usually using a polite tone. The correct words. He considered preaching about unity. His clothes were examined for a handful of seconds.

One dark knee-length coat with a string tie attached to the dress shirt. Black trousers and matching shoes. The hat with the wide brim always meant that he was a preacher. At least he appeared to be one by anyone viewing him. Brown hair reached his waist. Black circles were around his eyes.

One frown replaced the man's smirk as soon as he viewed the food truck. Curiosity appeared in his eyes.
He couldn't remember seeing any food trucks when he preached in Smallville, Kansas.

Reverend Howell was suddenly hungry before he shrugged his shoulders. The food truck's blue paint and snowflakes with frost caused him to smile. The other cause of his smile was the sound of chicken sizzling. Eyes were then on what appeared to be one bowler hat.

Reverend Howell took the brim of his preacher hat until he tilted it forward in acknowledgement.

The menu was examined. Mac and cheese with brownies also seemed good to him.

Reverend Howell approached the truck before he ordered in his Southern accent.

''I'll have fried chicken with mac and cheese. Oh. A brownie as well. Two slushies. Many thanks.''



DIAMONDS ARE A GIRL'S BEST FRIEND


Reverend Amos Howell remembered his usual plans. One search for any type of unity. Another villain to cause mischief with. Maybe one superhero or civilian for conversations.

Long hair framed Reverend Howell's face. The string tie on his blouse with trousers and shoes appeared to be fine. The knee-length coat was adjusted. The preacher hat with the wide brim was tilted forward.

Reverend Howell continued with his search before he paused. He started to squint from viewing a few officers. ''Unity?'' Bewildered, he tilted his head to the side.

Reverend Howell's eyes widened as soon as he recognized one of them. Squinting, he definitely did recognize her. He approached her prior to one smile.

''Miss Yin? I don't know if you remember me. The Reverend Amos Howell.''

The previous conversation about Reverend Howell's master hurting him was remembered.

Reverend Howell wondered if he was able to create amends for his past as Unity's preacher.



A NIGHT OUT


''I see about crooks possibly seizing hostages. Hurting them,'' Reverend Howell said.
He blinked before he appeared to be thoughtful.

''Was I a hostage of Unity?''

Reverend Howell wasn't certain if he was able to depart from Unity willingly. Even if he did, the parasite was always going to be wrapped around his brain. Brainwashing the poor man.

Reverend Howell figured that Unity was hurting others instead of him. He remembered how willing he was to hurt other people. Then again, Unity did control him with the parasite.

''I remember my master hurting me,'' Reverend Howell stated.

Unity had to be in another location. Maybe he wasn't in Smallville. Maybe he was in Metropolis?



HUNGRY PREACHERS


''I remember being brainwashed by Unity.'' Safe from his master. ''Unity isn't able to control me for the moment.'' Reverend Howell smiled.

''My master removed free will for a long time. Then again, the parasite around my brain couldn't be removed.''

HERETIC AND THE PREACHER


One tentacle emerged from the alien preacher's mouth and went to one of the men.

The tentacle struck the hand and caused the man to drop his weapon.

Eyes widened again the minute the disarmed man scowled and seized the tentacle. The tentacle was pulled forward before Reverend Howell fell on his side. He recalled his habit of underestimating opponents. Pain went through his body.

Reverend Howell was grateful for Nick being by his side. It was what unity represented. Protecting one another. Being helpful with each other in general.

Reverend Howell attempted to smile after he heard about the tongue being needed for his rousing sermons.

''I should be a lot more careful with how I attack the opponents,'' Reverend Amos Howell said after he began to remember having the tentacle from his mouth seized and his form contacting the ground a few minutes ago.






TORA OLAFSDOTTER



KC (Mr. Freeze)



Tora frowned while she walked and remembered everything. Her father instructing her to remain calm when she used her ice abilities. Her grandfather eventually locating her and attempting to capture her. How was he able to automatically assume that Tora would be willing to use her cryokinetic abilities for foul deeds? Other things were recalled. Tora's father ordering her to make everything cold. Tora obeying his words. Her wide eyes after she was released and discovered that the blizzard she had summoned managed to freeze her grandfather and his men. Their eternal wide eyes as they remained in ice coffins. Concern in her eyes when she discovered snow on her father. His final words for her to always remain careful and calm.

Tora also recalled becoming a superhero in New Zealand. Her codename becoming Ice. Minutes when she used her ice abilities to protect others from harm. Icy walls. Freezing crooks after they robbed banks.
Then there was the portal appearing in the sky and pulling her in.

Tora reappearing in one unfamiliar place. The area she currently wandered.

Tora's plan was to locate anyone to protect.

Curiosity appeared in Tora's eyes as soon as she was near a man. They widened after he mentioned an ice statue. One man using cryokinesis to harm others? Her past deeds were different. She had never meant to murder her grandfather and father. She then frowned.

''Ice figurine? What are you up to?''

Tora waited to use her ice abilities if he decided to attack her.

ONE PREACHER'S SEARCH (Kara In-Ze)


Reverend Amos Howell looked around after he walked by what appeared to be one empty restaurant. There weren't any signs of unity. He wasn't certain about if or when he was going to be with his master and in his religious tent. Amos had to remember that Unity was the one responsible for brainwashing him. Hurting the poor guy.

Superheroes weren't present for Reverend Howell to have conversations with. Villains weren't around for Reverend Howell to cause mischief with.

''Maybe later,'' Reverend Howell said while he frowned. He continued with his search for any form of unity.

Reverend Howell tilted the wide brim of his preacher hat forward. The string tie on his blouse was adjusted. His long hair and coat with matching trousers appeared to be fine. Dark circles remained around the preacher's eyes.

Reverend Howell looked around another time. He figured that he wasn't going to be injured by anyone or anything. He didn't plan on being careless. His search was from scratch.

''My master is happy without me?''

Unity removed Reverend Howell's free will. The parasite around Reverend Howell's brain couldn't be removed.

Reverend Howell began to look into a restaurant. He was then hungry. Perhaps a slice of chocolate cake. Maybe noodles or chicken. Spring rolls. He wasn't certain.

STREET FESTIVAL


''I never forgot about which master I belonged to. I never forgot about unity,'' Father Howell said with a rare hint of horror in his dark eyes. He was usually good about bringing crowds to his master when he lived in Smallville, Kansas. Father Howell may not have been a flawless preacher, but he always attempted to obey every order from his master. Angering him. It was what he usually attempted to avoid.

''After everything we went through. You're going to replace your preacher?''

Father Howell almost scowled, but horror remained in his eyes.

''I'll bring extra crowds to you, my master. I'll deliver sermons about how important it is for every living thing to be with one another. I'll approach every crowd I come across. You shouldn't replace me. We won't be unity. We must be together,'' Father Howell said. He began to pause.

''I never stepped out of your good graces,'' Father Howell stated as he frowned. Except that he wasn't so certain from what he currently viewed.

Father Howell's eyes flew open at a snail's pace as soon as he heard about his father. The man responsible for everything. Teaching him how to be a preacher. How to deliver messages of unity.

''What exactly about my father? What are you planning with him?''

THE SALE


Reverend Amos Howell started to tilt his head to the side after he was able to view a handful of people standing near a store in Metropolis. He remained curious about the group. One smile appeared. ''Unity. Pure unity. Absolute strength in numbers,'' he muttered.

It was for a split second when Reverend Howell considered delivering his usual sermon about unity to them. It was also when he remembered that he wasn't near his master. A frown materialized before he considered a mere sermon.

Reverend Howell approached the people. He watched as they appeared to focus on a large store window. He was able to see several objects with price tags on them.

''A sale! A sale!'' one woman exclaimed as she smiled.

''I'll be the first one to buy the necklace!'' another woman stated.

''Greetings. The Reverend Amos Howell. One preacher eager to deliver a message of uni..''

Reverend Howell's eyes were wide the minute he disappeared into the group. He was able to feel them pulling on one another as they fought over the items on sale. He wondered if he was going to be torn apart.


Reverend Howell usually managed to view the crowds within his religious tent remaining still for the most part. Looking ahead. Not rowdy and willing to tear their preacher apart.

Reverend Howell thought he heard a man as the latter instructed caution.

The thought of being trampled did occur to Reverend Howell. He began to wonder if spirit preachers existed.

Reverend Howell was able to view the man reaching for him. He took the latter's hand.

''I can somewhat move. I'm not injured,'' Reverend Howell said. He smiled. ''Many thanks for your assistance,'' he said to the man.

Reverend Howell then frowned and focused on the crowd's ''battle.''

''I guess they aren't willing to hear a man of the cloth's sermon.''


''According to one of the women, there's a sale going on. I remember seeing a lot of items in the store window. I'm not able to see any of them,'' Reverend Howell explained while he frowned.

Again, Reverend Howell remembered enjoying the sight of the brainwashed crowd within his religious tent. Although his master controlled them with parasites around their brains, they were able to hear every word from the preacher. They never attempted to hurt Reverend Howell or their master.

''I always give sermons when I'm near crowds,'' Reverend Howell said.

The thought of using a tentacle from his mouth to split the crowd occurred to him before he considered the possibility of them attacking him.
